Elaine Hallam has been a Professional Performer since 1979,when she joined The Cast of Godspell for Cameron Mackintosh,at the age of 19. She travelled to London from her Second year at Drama School, for an Open Audition, with X Factor Styles Crowds, and after four Re-Calls Landed the part of "Turn Back Oh Man." She followed this with many other West End Shows, Musical Tours, 14 Repertory Seasons, RSC, The National Theatre, Television, Film and Radio Credits. Elaine has always sung alongside working as a Main Stream Actress and Musical performer. She began Teaching and Coaching when she became a mum ,and has been in demand as an Singing, Acting, Presentation, Dialect and Accent Coach, and Audition Preparation Coach for the last ten years. She taught at the prestigious Italia Conti School in London, for 4 years.Elaine currently Teaches One to One Sessions in Acting and Voice/Singing for Esher College,runs Workshops for Esher  Buttercup Agency,and Kerrie Mailey(Casting)also,and Teaches for M&M DanceCraft.

Singers and Songs has grown organically, taking itself along and expanding by popular demand and interest. It has been a real joy to see just how many people love to sing, can sing, and can expand their musicality from beginning to end of each Course. At a time when life is so stressful in The UK these Classes are a lovely way of releasing stress through music, singing and songs. Many real friendships and associations have formed in each group also. A room of smiling, friendly and supportive faces, all shouting "lovely, see you next week, what are we singing?" at the end of each session, is so rewarding.
